Family-run farm cottages close to Bath with an indoor heated pool

Our 4 * self-catering cottages are superbly located on a working sheep farm between Bath and Bradford on Avon. Situated on the edge of Winsley village, Church Farm is within walking distance of a host of amenities, including an excellent village pub, family farm shop & cafe and mini supermarket-style village shop. Our indoor heated pool is always popular with guests.  We welcome couples, families, friends and their dogs and business people to come and enjoy our beautiful surroundings.

We are very proud of our luxurious indoor heated pool and we very much look forward to our guests being able to enjoy it once again when government restrictions allow. Use of the pool will vary depending on the latest guidelines. As it currently stands, it can reopen but with limits on number of people, or households.

Longleat is a great day out for all of the family. We are able to provide a discounted rate for tickets when booking your stay with us. These must be purchased in advance of your stay. Please see here for more details

Summer Holiday plans

The official start of summer is on Tues 21st June. Now is the perfect time to have a break away before the school holidays. Alternatively we have availability for some dates during the School Holidays. Here the availability calendar here

A family holiday has to include our four-legged friends! Here at Church Farm we accept dogs into our properties by prior arrangement. The dog walks are great and lots of local dog friendly places.

Farm Stay

A great choice of accommodation if you are looking for lovely country walks, local pubs and Hartley Farm Shop/Kitchen on the neighbouring farm. Lambing has almost finished so lots to be seen in the surrounding fields

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend staying at church farm cottages. We stayed in Velum Stone cottage which was clean, cosy and well equipped. The complimentary cream tea was a lovely touch. We had the breakfast pack too which I would thoroughly recommend- the sausages were delicious, and extra provisions could be sourced from the local farm shop. The pool was clean and very warm. We had an opportunity to have a tour of the farm in lambing season, which was the absolute highlight of the weekend. There are some gorgeous walks on your doorstep, and the local pub does amazing Sunday roasts- be sure to book. We will absolutely be recommending to friends. And hope to come again ourselves
