Our indoor pool has proven to be a real hit with our guests and keeps bringing us return visitors every year! It is kept warm enough for a relaxing spot of bathing after a long day and is large enough for some light exercise and fun with family and friends. We’re proud to say that our pool is rainwater-harvested and heated with burning wood-pellets from our biomass boiler.
It is located within the cottages area, next to the games room. The pool is 12x5m in size and the temperature averages 32 degrees centigrade. It is shallow all the way through – 1m at the shallow end and 1.2m at the other end, so ideal for families. There is a pool-side shower, seating, and a changing room and toilet. Please read our pool rules when visiting.
The weekend and normal opening times are from 8am until 10pm (or 9pm in Winter months) each day. Please note that midweek during school term time we have swimming classes in the pool. See our opening times.
Angelfish run by Jen offers swimming classes at Church Farm. Do get in touch with her if you/your children want a class during your stay. These are offered for children as young as 3 years old.
Recent feedback: “Having spotted Jen teaching some kids in the pool attached to our holiday cottage we asked if she was free again that week. Our 4yo had two half hour lessons with Jen. What an outstanding teacher! She was brilliant. In just two lessons our son’s confidence and skill has gone through the roof. What a wonderful lady. I’m trying to convince my husband to move to Bath just to have swimming lessons with Jen!”
The Games Room
Beside the pool is the games room which is widely used by our younger guests and big kids too! There is a pool table, table tennis and table football and it is the perfect place to keep children amused on rainy days.
