Jen Stoneham runs Angelfish offering children’s swimming classes. She is available to give classes during your stay. These are offered for children as young as 3 years old. Feel free to contact her directly for more details.
Some guests recently gave feedback: “Having spotted Jen teaching some kids in the pool attached to our holiday cottage we asked if she was free again that week. Our 4yo, Robin, had two half hour lessons with Jen whilst on our holiday. What an outstanding teacher! She was brilliant. In just two lessons Robin’s confidence and skill has gone through the roof. What a wonderful lady. I’m trying to convince my husband to move to Bath just to have swimming lessons with Jen!”
Our indoor pool has proven to be a real hit with our guests and keeps bringing us return visitors every year! It is kept warm enough for a relaxing spot of bathing after a long day and is large enough for some light exercise and fun with family and friends. We’re proud to say that our pool is rainwater-harvested and heated with burning wood-pellets from our biomass boiler.
It is located within the cottages area, next to the games room. The pool is 12x5m in size and the temperature averages 32 degrees centigrade. It is shallow all the way through – 1m at the shallow end and 1.2m at the other end, so ideal for families. There is a pool-side shower, seating, and a changing room and toilet. Please read our pool rules when visiting.
The weekend and normal opening times are from 8am until 10pm each day. Please note that midweek during school term time we have swimming classes in the pool. Displayed on this page our our opening times.

Church Farm is the perfect base for exploring the area on bike, using the surrounding country lanes or nearby canal path. We have a lockable store, so you can rest assured that you’ll have safe and secure accommodation for your bike too; just ask where it is on your arrival.
Shared Walled Garden
Each cottage has its own individual patio space, equipped with garden furniture. Surrounding the cottages is a walled garden, creating a larger space that families and groups of friends can enjoy together.
We have plenty of parking for the cottages, which are easily accessible and close by. We have one space allocated for disabled parking, which is close to Lime Kiln Cottage.
There is an enclosed area for waste disposal, as well as bins for the recycling of glass, metals, cardboard and plastic bottles. We take pride in our recycling efforts and hope our guests can do the same.
The Games Room
Beside the pool is the games room which is widely used by our younger guests and big kids too! There is a pool table, table tennis and table football and it is the perfect place to keep children amused on rainy days.
