Getting Around

Buses, taxis, trains, cycle routes, walking routes

Buses:
Reliable and frequent buses pass through Winsley. Bus stops are a short walk away. When arriving for your stay we can provide a timetable and point out where the bus stops are. Here is a bus timetable: http://www.firstgroup.com/uploads/maps/Service_265_web.pdf

Trains:
Bradford-on-Avon has a train station. This is a 10 minute drive or short taxi ride away. Trips to Bath, Bristol and London are all made easily from Bradford-on-Avon. Try to pre-book tickets to get a cheaper price. https://www.thetrainline.com/ is a good website to do this through.

Bike:
The best way to travel! Exercise, environmentally-friendly and cheap. We are in an area with endless possibilities for cycling adventures. We are ½ a mile away from the Kennet and Avon Canal taking you to a bunch of destinations.

Colliers Way is another trail intended for walkers and cyclists. Take a look at their website: http://www.colliersway.co.uk/

The Bristol and Bath Railway Path is a 13 mile off road route between the cities of Bristol and Bath.

Here are some taxi companies that we normally go with Abbey Taxis: 01225 868111 and Bradford on Avon Taxis: 01225 862277
