In and around Winsley you’ll find there are endless options when you’re looking for local restaurants, pubs and takeaways.
The Seven Stars pub is in the village, a few minutes walk or 500m drive from the farm. The food is superb, and our guests give great feedback. It’s recommended that you book in advance as it can get very busy, especially over the weekends.
The Cross Guns at Avoncliff is tucked away on the Kennet and Avon Canal in between Winsley and Bradford on Avon. Recently refurbished and now a popular pub for walkers/cyclists heading along the canal. An outdoor decking area overlooking the canal makes it an ideal choice for all the family. The sister pub ‘The Inn at Freshford‘ is also not too far away and serves equally delicious food.
Bradford-On-Avon is home to many excellent pubs, restaurants and cafes. Some of our personal favourites are:
The Bunch of Grapes: A hidden gem, with a French twist, right in the heart of Bradford on Avon. You will be welcome in at any time whether it is for your morning coffee or a fancy lunch/dinner. Definitely worth a visit, we’ve heard nothing but great things.
Ravello: A new addition to the town. Some of the tastiest Italian food we’ve had in a long time. A popular choice so book in advance to avoid disappointment.
